Once our groups were moulded and decision time (concerning which aspect of the specification options we would most like to venture) had surpassed, we found ourselves at step one.
As a group we had chosen to create a music video, which further involved developing the album cover for the album of our song choice, as well as a magazine advertisement, which would ultimately serve as our voice to our audience, trying to interest them and speak to them through a picture and some words. Exciting stuff!
There was a lot to be done, but where to begin? After some excited discussion we thought that the music video should be our primary focus. Through this we would be able discover our song choice, the mood of our song (love, anger etc.) and genre of band and song (indie, pop, rock etc.), which would furthermore, lead us to ideas surrounding album covers and advertisments, giving us a much clearer view on the project as a whole.
